Wii Cake

I made this cake for Sandi's birthday.

Elmo Cake

Elmo was requested by Rosalyn for her son RJ. At first I was going to do Elmo by himself. My friend, Yoana, demanded that I do Dororthy and a crayon. It turns out Elmo has a goldfish name Dorothy and he just love crayons. When the kids saw Elmo they were ready to hug & poke him. I was terrified that they would be traumatized by the cake cutting but they weren't!

Wall-E Cake

A complete Wall-E cake before the Incident!

Wall-E during surgery, performed by Dr. Sara, assisted by Dr. Carrillo.

Post-Op Wall-E in the recovery fridge.

Dr. Carrillo asked if I could make a Wall-E cake for his nephew Sam. I thought, sure no problem. I was wrong! He was feisty & troublesome! I was not completely satisfied with my end result.
Dr. Carrillo picked him and then I received the dreaded text message..."I think Wall-E died!"
Wall-E split in half, luckily Dr. Carrillo's wife Sara saved Wall-E with life saving techniques!
I learned many lessons for future cakes!
I am just happy that the birthday boy loved it.

Blue Moon & Stars Baby Shower Cake

My brother's coworker asked for a boy baby shower cake. She gave me a picture of a cake she liked but wanted it more blue and boyish. For this cake I used marshmallow fondant for the very first time. My favorite part is the blanket!

Let's Build A Word, Let's Build A Word, Let's Build It Now!

This cake was for Maraya's 1st birthday. Her mom asked if I could make a Word World cake and I said yes! Anything for little Maraya! The original design consisted of only one layer, the top layer. I decided to add a little more which ended up being a lot more.

Dearly Beloved, We Are Gathered Here Today...

I was challenged by my coworker, Jerry, to make a casket cake. It's not as strange as it looks, we work at a funeral home. I believe I met his challenge!

Can I Have Some Eggrolls With That

This is one of my favorite cakes. I made this for the MagaƱa Sisters' Oscar Party. It only took 5 hours to decorate. My boyfriend helped me make the noodles with a garlic press. This was my first time working with fondant. My favorite part of the cake is the Chinese pagoda!

Early Work IV

This was a surprise cake for my coworker Eleanor, a fanatic of Hello Kitty. She loved it!

Who Lives In a Pineapple Under the Sea?

This Spongebob cake was for my coworker's son's 1st birthday.
I thought it was going to be a piece of cake (hehe) but Spongebob was feisty.

Early Work III

This is the flag of Puerto Rico cake. I made this for another coworker's birthday. I was happy that I got the white and red stripes correct.

Early Work II

I made this flower cake for my coworker. I love how it's dainty and pink. It's so girly.

Early Work

I made this Joe Bruin cake right before the Tennesse vs. UCLA game.
I did it freehand. Joe ended up with a tumor on his left cheek.

I'm happy he resembles Joe Bruin (sort of).
