Vegan Pool Cake

This is my first vegan cake! I was a little scared since I am fond of eggs. It turned out quite yummy. The birthday girl, Adriane wanted a vegan cake and had no theme in mind. This summer she worked as a lifeguard so my boyfriend which is her uncle thought it would be cool to make a pool.

Super Heroes Unite for Roman's Birthday

Roman turned 4 and wanted a super hero cake. He gave me a long list of everyone he wanted but I had to shorten it to 4: Superman, Incredible Hulk, Batman and Spiderman are all made of fondant and details were drawn on with edible ink. My favorite super hero is Superman, it's the hair ;)

Luau Cake

This cake was for Robert Jr and Madison. Their mommy Blanca wanted a luau theme. This was my first time using brown sugar as sand. It was a little messy but worth it.

Welcome Baby Vokac!

This is a baby shower cake for baby girl Vokac. I absolutely loved working on this cake. All the decorations are made out of fondant. My favorite is the mini tea set.

Mini Monkey Cake

This is a smaller version of the original monkey cake made for our friend "Monkey". Mini Monkey was decorated in about 5 hours.

*As of 9/15/09 the Mini Monkey is still alive! He resides in my friend's living room who refused to cut him :)

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

This was made for Andrew's 2nd birthday. It is a cake version of Mickey.

Xbox Controller

Chocolate cake with chocolate filling for Kaleb. I spelled his name incorrectly but I fixed it just in time.

Dallas Cowboys Helmet

I made this Dallas Cowboys Helmet for my friend Gumer's brother Horacio. His mom joked that since her son is such a big fan he probably would not allow the cake to be cut!

Cupcake Heaven

These cupcakes were made for Princess Marissa! She requested cloud-like icing, sprinkles and gumballs. My boyfriend, Tony did the sprinkling and gumball placement :)

One-Arm Bandit

I made this for Juanita to celebrate her 80's/gambling birthday party!
