This wedding cake is made up of 4 tiers: 6", 8", 10, " and 12". The cake topper is made out of gumpaste. The bride is on a dolly and the groom is in a UPS uniform (his job). The rosettes are made out of gumpaste in dusty rose and adorned with small pearls.
My friend from college asked me to make her wedding cake. She wanted it black & white with a damask pattern and red roses. The groom picked out the cake topper. I also made a mini cake for their daughter.
This is my first wedding cake. It was for my brother's coworker. She wanted the cake to have a quilt pattern and yellow flowers. It was a bit nerve wrecking since so many people were going to see it...400 +! I was very happy with the final outcome!
